Little Carys, the beautiful daughter of World Champion Pastry Chef Chris Hanmer and his wife, Caryn, was born with a Congenital Heart Defect.  As many of you learned on Bravo’s Top Chef:  Just Desserts, Chef Chris won the title of Top Chef just after Carys’ birth.

Chef Hanmer and his wife, Caryn Hanmer, have together created the CH Sweethearts community to connect with other parents and families whose lives are touched by congenital heart defects every day.  Chef Chris explains, “Our community will become a place to share experiences, gather information, and support organizations that are making a difference against congenital heart defects.”
